FLEET STREET PUMPING STATION, 1982

The Fleet Street pumping station (Ottawa's original water works) was built in 1874 by the prominent civil engineer, Thomas Keefer.

The project included restoration of the building shell, internal retrofitting, and recreation of the Victorian garden and fountain.

The has received the City of Ottawa Award of Excellence for Conservation.
